Another 20 days before i updated u again my dear diary!.
u have to understand the following:
1. ur owner here is getting more and more lazy.
2. been busy at work.
3. been going out more often & enjoying it.
was promoted on 13 August a week ahead of schedule and then thrown alot of things to learn.
So happy la! promoted to backend! A WHOLE NEW WORLD of things to learn. a totally new environment i should say.
straight away that morning, kanna 'whack' already. bombarded with so much knowledge!!
Access to the servers & routers were totally opened up to me. From only limited read access, to full write access! so many info became available to me! shuang..
but had to learn alot alot of stuff!! how to do this how to do that, how to commission this how to provision that. Seniors all giving me crash course.. basically guide me 1 time, then i go do for customer already. lolz...
Recently also a massive influx of new leased line connections, so i naturally volunteered (and got asked to go as well) & got to go so many many onsites (onsites: go to customer office for troubleshooting or installation)
Onsites are soo fun! that is where ur skills are fully put to use. You're the only 1 there and u just gotta make the connection work!
Plus! it's at least several hours away from office haha..
This week has been doing standby duty. lucky not many many problems lolx
Still alot more things to learn! both at work and in life!
Aside, ICE SKATING ON 27/8/2008!
ABSOLUTELY FUN & ENJOYABLE!
1st time ice-skating! specially took leave on that day!
Was raining that day though. freaking cold when we entered.
Well, i overslept on that day.. (6.30AM kanna woken up due to attack on network)
supposed to meet at 1.30pm.. but i woke at 1.30pm instead lolz...
we all met up at 2.10pm lidat... 4 of us together. take the group package cheaper.
$60 for 4 ppl, no time limit, no skate rental charge. $15-skate-as-long-as-u-like. worth it lol.
Started off shivering & 'paralyzed' on the ice haha... after awhile got used to it and starting to skate freely~ so fun~
Skated from 2.15pm to 6.30pm lolz... so fun~~~
